You may know someone or believe that you are the right person for the job and wish to stand as a candidate yourself

Any student can stand as a candidate including:

  • Undergraduates
  • Postgraduates
  • International students
  • Part-time students
  • Mature students.

Part-time roles typically require you to belong to the group you are representing. For instance, the Postgraduate Officer must be a postgraduate student.

Stand as a full-time officer

As President or Vice-President, you will have the opportunity to improve the lives of your fellow students, all while earning a salary. You’ll also gain a mindset and skillset in high demand by graduate employers. After all, you’ll be leading a million-pound business, with 80 staff members and 5,000 members.

Stand as a part-time officer

As one of our 11 part-time officers, you will give a voice to a typically under-represented group to which you belong. This is a voluntary role, completed alongside your studies. You’ll make a difference, while growing your knowledge and network.
