About Us

The cricket club prides itself on the competitive, friendly environment to which anyone is welcome.

Welcome to the University of Chichester Cricket Team!

We are a very inclusive society open to welcoming anyone to join us. We offer competitive opportunities for cricketers of all skill levels with our 2 BUCS teams. Which allows us to proudly represent the university during our summer season.

We encourage everyone to join in these fixtures as both men and women can compete in these games for us!

As well as the competition, we focus on allowing our players the opportunity to develop their skills no matter the level they start at when joining us. We train twice a week in the Tudor Hale sports facility on the Bishop’s Otter campus. In these sessions we look at working on fielding and technique in the nets as well as our fitness to prepare us for when the season comes around.

Through our training and matches we develop a great team spirit as well as our weekly socials. As it gives us a chance for us all to get to know each other on a different level away from the game of cricket. Hence why we encourage as many people to get involved in the fun as much as possible!

As a team, we also want to raise as much money as possible for charity. This will be through the Movember campaign and the other fundraisers that we will be looking to put on throughout the year.

So, whether you are an experienced cricketer or just beginning your journey in the sport, we all welcome you to join us and become part of our cricket family!
