AWARDS UPDATE

Having been let down by a core supplier, we have taken the hard decision to postpone the SU Awards Evening until Wednesday 29^th May.

WSIHE Wednesday will go ahead as planned on Wed 8^th May. 

All WSIHE and Awards tickets will remain valid for the evening (Wed 8^th May). If you were only attending the evening for the awards and would like a refund please email studentsunion@chi.ac.uk and this will be processed within 48hours (please note all refund requests will need to be made by midday, Wed 8^th May).

Awards + WSIHE  £4 This ticket will give you access to both the SU Awards and then WSIHE Wednesday 

Students £4.00 - This ticket gives you priority entrance to the event, guaranteeing* you entry between 8pm-9pm.

Students on the door £5

Guest £6.00

All tickets are NON-TRANSFERABLE OR REFUNDABLE.

Please check your Purchase History each time you buy a ticket, to make sure you have successfully followed all the steps and purchased a ticket, to avoid disappointment.

ENTRY

Searching will take place, and this will take time, so please arrive early to avoid long waiting times.

Please have your Student Card available and ready to enter. In the absence of your Student Card, Bring Valid ID (Passport or Driving Licence). The Student Union is a Licensed Premise, it is a legal requirement to have ID.

GUEST POLICY

Each Student is permitted to sign in up to two guests per night. The Student must have their valid Student card on them, the guest must have valid ID (Passport or Driving Licence) to be allowed to sign in.

If a student signs a guest into either SU venues then they accept responsibility for their actions. If they act in an unacceptable way then the student may be punished by the Students’ Union. This may include:

· Being barred from both SU bars

· Being suspended from Clubs/Societies (Inc Sports teams)

· Having to attend a disciplinary hearing

· Paying appropriate fines

The guest will also no longer be welcome at the Students’ Union.

When the student leaves an event, or has been asked to leave, the guest must leave with them. Guest may not remain in the venue without the Student who signed them in.

Students should make sure they know the people they are signing in.
